Evaluation of Some New Cotton Genotypes Against Verticillum Disease (Verticillum dahliae Kleb.)

This study was carried out to determine the responses of some new cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) lines Verticillium wilt disease (disease agent is Verticillum dahliae Kleb.) and enable use resistant or tolerant in future studies. The field trials were conducted at trial field, Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey 2019. a naturally contaminated with V. dahliae. Nine advanced used as material. resistant/tolerant cultivars DP-396, BA-119 STV-468 control cultivars. Disease index incidence (%) examined study. experiment set up randomized block design four replications. According variance analysis, significant results obtained terms rate infection (%). Based on values, standard genotype Hat-1, Hat-2, Hat-3, Hat-4, Hat-5 Hat-9 candidate most genotypes. In (%), DP-396 genotypes Hat-5, Hat-7 determined It concluded that STV-468, can be infected cultivation areas.
